The Association of Inter-Married Zoroastrians would like to make sure that the rights of inter-married Parsees are not compromised.

We would welcome your support – whether or not you are inter-married

Events and attitudes of the orthodox of our community have caused much anguish to all sensitive and intelligent members of the Parsi community as well as to Non-Parsees. It is the duty of every right-thinking person not only to speak out against such injustice, but also to take all possible steps to rectify matters.

We are a group of Parsi Zoroastrians married to non-Parsi Zoroastrians, who have come together to form an association called "The Association of Inter-Married Zoroastrians" A.I.M.Z. as a Society registered under The Societies Registration Act, 1860.

The main object of the Association is as follows :

"The main object inter-alia is to assert, establish, agitate for, protect and safeguard the rights, privileges, benefits of and available to Parsi Zoroastrians married to any person who is not a Parsi Zoroastrian including to take all steps and proceedings for speedy and effective implementation and enforcement of all such rights, privileges and benefits.

All Parsi Zoroastrians married to non-Parsi Zoroastrians and children above 18 years of such marriages, who have performed their Navjote Ceremony are entitled to become Members with full voting and other rights. Any person/spouses above the age of 18 years, who sympathises with the aims and objects of the Association is welcome to become an Associate Member. The constitution of the Association has been framed on modern democratic lines with regular elections and a respect for the views of every person.

We believe that instead of sporadic and adhoc efforts by aggrieved individuals, well directed and organised efforts under the umbrella of an Association, will yield better and faster results. The Association is fortunate to have the backing of eminent Zoroastrians and others in all walks of life. We are aware of the need to avoid, to the farthest extent possible, any bitterness or rancour in a small and dying community, but the time has come when to remain silent amounts to a lack of moral courage and the erosion of a sense of Justice and fair play.

There is no annual membership fee, but a one-time life membership fee of –

-- Rs 1000 for Life Membership

-- Rs 300 for Single Associate Life Membership / spouse

-- Rs 500 for Couple Associate Life membership.

We appeal to you to Join the Association by filling in the relevant Application Form and your cheque made in favour of "Association of Inter-Married Zoroastrians" or "A.I.M.Z." which can be sent to the following address :
